ARTICLE 1 – Every guest, by the mere act of contracting lodging and services from the Ocean Coral & Turquesa hotel, accepts these regulations to which they are subject, considering them as the service contract to be fulfilled.
ARTICLE 2 – Every hotel guest must register on the established registration card and keep the provided wristband-key tied to their wrist at all times. In case of loss, there will be a charge of $1800.00 Mexican Pesos or its equivalent in USD.
ARTICLE 3 – Children must remain accompanied by an adult at all times.
ARTICLE 4 – The Ocean Coral & Turquesa Hotel is against child sexual tourism. Any person detected will be subject to the country's law and will be immediately handed over to the competent authorities.
ARTICLE 5 – No pets of any kind are allowed in the hotel facilities. Only guide dogs are permitted with prior authorization from the management and upon request. They must comply with hygiene standards, and the owner (guest) will be directly responsible for the guide dog's care.
ARTICLE 6 – In case any damage to the furniture or linens of the room and/or public areas of the hotel is detected, the cost of repair, cleaning, or replacement caused will be charged. We recommend proper use of these items; any detected damage will generate an automatic charge.
ARTICLE 7 – Money and valuables must be deposited in the safety deposit boxes provided free of charge in each room; otherwise, the hotel will not be responsible for any loss the guest may suffer within their room.
ARTICLE 8 – Any external visit must be reported to the reception in advance, providing the details of each visitor. Visitors must leave after 30 minutes and may only remain in the lobby without using the rest of the facilities or consuming any food or drinks. It is forbidden to accommodate persons not previously registered at the reception, and the maximum room capacity may not be exceeded. Failure to comply with the above will result in an automatic charge to the room for the corresponding amount according to the current counter rate.
ARTICLE 9 – The hotel management reserves the right to evict from the premises without obligation to give any explanation to any guest whose conduct goes against morality, decency, and good customs, or whose behavior disturbs other guests. This is done to protect other guests.
ARTICLE 10 – To maintain the exclusivity and high quality of service in the restaurants, guests are required to dress according to the hotel's established dress code and not enter with wet clothing. It is not permitted to remove food and drinks from the restaurants and snack bars.
ARTICLE 11 – For any comment, complaint, or service request, the guest may contact the customer service and reception departments.
ARTICLE 12 – The established check-out time for rooms is 12:00 hrs. If the room is not vacated by this time, an automatic charge will be applied to the room for each extra hour. During check-out, the guest must return the room keys (wristband) at the reception. Failure to do so will result in the charge of the rate specified on the registration card for each unreturned item.
ARTICLE 13 – Every hotel guest must return their wristband-key to the reception when checking out. Each unreturned wristband-key will generate an automatic charge of $1800.00 Mexican pesos or its equivalent in USD.
ARTICLE 14 – Payment for stays must be made in advance or upon arrival. Otherwise, at least the payment corresponding to the first night of stay must be made to access the facilities. The hotel reserves the right of admission.
ARTICLE 15 – Personal checks are not accepted for any payment of services and lodging. Credit card acceptance is limited to those announced as valid by the hotel administration and that allow charges exceeding the account amount.
ARTICLE 16 – The use of electric irons or other electricity-powered appliances will be at the guest's responsibility.
ARTICLE 17 – The shops and agencies located inside the Hotel are concessionaires, and their management is independent of the hotel's operation; the hotel is not responsible for their policies and administration.
ARTICLE 18 – Every guest, upon leaving their room, is obliged to turn off the water taps, close the entrance door and the terrace door. In case of any unauthorized entry by people into the room due to non-compliance with this recommendation, it will be considered the guest's full responsibility.
ARTICLE 19 – It is forbidden to hang clothes or towels on the room balcony railing and to use hotel towels or other belongings off the property.
ARTICLE 20 – The swimming pools are for the exclusive use of hotel guests. It is forbidden to bathe with clothing in the swimming pools; swimwear is mandatory. Guests are obliged to respect the regulations specified for the swimming pools. For hygiene reasons, consumption of food and drinks inside the swimming pools is not permitted. Important to consider: if in the last 48 hours you or any of your family and friends have experienced any stomach discomfort, do not enter the swimming pools. ARTICLE 21 – For the comfort of all our guests, we suggest not reserving loungers. Do not leave your belongings out of sight; the hotel will not be responsible for any loss.
ARTICLE 22 – Total and/or partial nudity is strictly prohibited in the hotel.
ARTICLE 23 – Every registered guest must comply with the hotel's environmental policy, respecting fauna and flora. Feeding wild animals in the area is prohibited.
ARTICLE 24 – Any person detected using illegal substances will be subject to the country's law and will be immediately handed over to the competent authorities.
ARTICLE 25 – Our hotel has civil liability insurance. For more information, please contact the Reception.
ARTICLE 26 – All hotel rooms are Non-Smoking. If burn damage and/or tobacco aroma is detected, an automatic charge will apply.
ARTICLE 27 – Any purchase of services such as excursions, massages, or items from uncertified providers is NOT the Hotel's responsibility. The Hotel is not responsible for any service provided by external companies and services unrelated to the hotel.
ARTICLE 28 – By government provision, an environmental tax per night must be paid for the execution of environmental sanitation works within the municipality of Puerto Morelos, such as the conservation and maintenance of beaches, integral treatment of urban solid waste, environmentally friendly public lighting, and elimination of open-air landfills.
